DAY ONE

First you are going to want to check into your hotel, they will store your bags if your room isn’t ready yet. I would then suggest heading straight to Rue Crémieux. Rue Crémieux is a charming street in a quiet part of Paris. The architecture is full of color and is a hidden gem, great way to start your trip! To get there will take about 30 mins on the train. When you arrive at Hotel Splendid, let them know of your plans they will help you explain the train system. You can get a 24 hour train card for unlimited riding. To get to Rue Crémieux walk to the metro station: Avenue Émile Zola and ride 12 stops to Austerlitz. Stay there for about 20-30 minutes and then head to L’Européen for lunch which is just a short walk from Rue Crémieux. After enjoying lunch, walk about 40 minutes to Pont des Arts: a pedestrian bridge that is known for romance as it showcase the love locks. On your walk you will pass other monuments including Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris (due to the fires it is closed to the public but is a beauty from outside too) and Sainte-Chapelle. This walk and bridge will be a great place to whip out your camera and get some incredible shots. On the other side of the bridge, stop at the Louvre Museum for beautiful views of the Paris Architecture. Although you are uninterested in visiting inside the museum, it is open from 9 am to 6 pm, if you change your mind. However, when facing the museum go to the left and follow until you get to the gardens, relax in the gardens and enjoy the views! To head back to the hotel to freshen up you will want to take the train, go to the Palais-Royal station and take the 1 train two stops to Concorde and then switch to the 8 train and get off after 4 stops at the La Motte – Picquet Grenelle stop. After freshening up at the hotel, head to dinner at Restaurant Jamin, you have to try escargot it is a France staple. After dinner walk to Grand Palais because it is beautiful lit up at night. Grab a bottle of wine and then head to the Eiffel Tower to relax and enjoy the beauty at night (all within walking distance)

DAY TWO

Start your day as early as possible since you will have to head to the airport in the afternoon. I would suggest waking up no later than 7 am. Don’t forget to talk to the front desk about making your airport shuttle reservation. The hotel has a breakfest buffet but I would suggest having a traditional French breakfast at Le Suffren which is a short walk from your hotel. After breakfast head to Pont Alexandre III which is the most extravagant bridge in the city with views of the Eiffel Tower (about a 20 minute walk from breakfast). Then head straight to the Eiffel Tower for a scheduled tour to climb it at 11 am as we had talked about (confirmation sent via email). You will be able to see the Eiffel Tower in daylight while also climbing it and seeing the beautiful Paris views from the top. For lunch, head to Le Soufflé for the city’s best personalized pot pies (since you love them). Take train 42 from the Tour Eiffel station 7 stops to Concorde Royale and then a short walk from there. You will also be a bit closer to Champs-Élysées which is a great final stop after lunch. It is only a 10-20 minute walk from your lunch spot and is the world’s most beautiful avenue. At the end of the avenue, you will also be able to see the beautiful and iconic Arc De Triomphe. Stay for however long you can before you have to head to the airport but do note: you will be a 15 minute drive or 20 minute train ride or a 50 minute walk from your hotel.
