Ibiza Travel Guide
How to Get To Ibiza
There are two options when trying to get to Ibiza, taking a plane ride or a ferry. The ferry options are only if you are leaving Barcelona or Valencia. In the cities of Denia and Madrid, flights are going to be your only option. Flying, however, is super easy and affordable. Airlines like RyanAir, Vueling, and Iberia have incredible pricing and discounts. We took a flight from Barcelona and it only took an hour. Unless prices are crazily expensive, avoid the whole ferry route.. but I also wouldn’t want to sit on a ferry all night after partying in Ibiza.
When to Visit Ibiza
The weather is beautiful year-round in Ibiza but to get the full effect of the beautiful island, summer is your best bet. Usually, summer starts anywhere from May and ends in October. The summer months are also when the DJs come to play, the party-goers are ready, and the festivals are happening. The most crowded months are July and August.
Where to Stay in ibiza
Depending on whether you choose a hostel, Airbnb, or Hotel is up to you but here are some of the best sections in Ibiza to stay in.
Ibiza Town: It is the best place to stay for sightseeing and the primary city in Ibiza. It will offer you an authentic vibe.
Playa d’en Bosso: This is the best place for those who like to party hardy.
Cala Talamanca: The best part of this location is that it offers an incredibly relaxing vibe. This area is also great for families as the ocean is clear and provides a safe swimming area.
San Antonio: On a budget? This is where you need to stay. It is along the west coast and is a little bit further away from the south of the island. But it is still very easy to get around with taxi’s
Sightseeing in Ibiza
There is so much to see besides a DJ booth at a club. Here are some of the most popular sights in Ibiza.
The Hippy Market: If you have read any of my other blogs then you know how much I love an outdoor market. The hippy market in Ibiza is everything I could ever dream of. Bringing you handmaid goods, crafts, and treats. This market is held every Saturday in Las Dalias. If you aren’t in Ibiza on Saturday, in Cala Benirrás there are outdoor stalls from Tuesday to Sunday.
Where to party in ibiza
Here are my top party spots in Ibiza. Not only is it the Club Capital of the world, but it is also the electronic music festival of the world.
Pacha: Now this is definitely a club and a fun one at that. Pacha is located in Talamance. Must clubs close in September/October and reopen in May for the summer season. Pacha is the only club that stays open year-round. Pacha brings love to the island, its sexy-inspired atmosphere attracts some of the best DJs.
Ushuaïa Ibiza: This was my most favorite venue out of all the clubs. It is an incredible hotel that has an outdoor venue area. The main stage for the DJ is perched slightly behind the beautiful resort pool. This hotel offers Ibiza’s best beach and pool clubs. We literally planned our entire trip to Ibiza around going to Ushuaïa. We got a ticket in advance to see Kygo here and I am glad we did because they sold out. It was also the best experience ever.
O Beach Club Ibiza: Last but not least, this is the best day club in all of Ibiza. It is also an incredible hotel that you can stay at. You can book a day bed or just grab a drink at the bar. It offers a luxurious vibe with a hint of epic partying.
