This seaside town is home to some of the best beaches, the cutest city center, and incredible golf courses.

You can get to Cascais through two options, either by train or by car (Uber). Taking the train from Lisbon is quite simple. From the Cais do Sodré train station in Lisbon and take the Cascais train. You will take this suburban train all the way to the last stop, Cascais station. It takes about 40 minutes and is about 1-3 Euros.

— however, having a guide was a plus for the rich history lessons and that bonus trip to the Egyptian Museum.

Have you been and did you do a guided tour?
Perched atop the ocean next to a cliff: Usumba Ro Perched atop the ocean next to a cliff: Usumba Rock Restaurant

This restaurant is located on the southern tip of the island near Mtende Beach. The restaurant is located on the side of the cliff and during hightide it basically feels like you are floating on the water. (And honestly is kinda dangerous)

However (pro-tip), We actually instead went during low tide so we could walk the beach and enjoy the beautiful views. Which was much more peaceful & fun to do.
