The Ultimate Travel Guide to Rosemary Beach
Rosemary Beach will always have a special place in my heart because it is where my husband and I got married. We loved how cute the little town and buildings were. If you are interested in getting married there, let me know and I’d be happy to get you all the info. But, if you are more of a traveler ready to check out the beautiful dutch inspired town, then listen up! This your own ultimate travel guide to Rosemary Beach, Florida!
How to Get there
There are a few options when getting to Rosemary Beach, Florida. The first and most convenient is flying into the airport with the code ECP. This airport is a quick 20 minute drive from rosemary and an easy Uber trip. The next closest airport is VPS which is about 50 minutes from Rosemary. The next closest would be MOB which can be about 1 hr and a half from Rosemary. The next closest and a much bigger airport (so it may be cheaper to fly into) is TLH which is in Tallahassee, Florida.
When to Visit
The bet time to visit is October-November right before the holidays. It is still very warm out and is less crowded than the busy summer months June-August. I would definitely suggest avoiding going during February, March, April time because its cold, foggy, and rainy.

What to Do
Beach day or Beach Bonfire at Night
The beaches at Rosemary are some of the most beautiful in the USA. They don’t call it the Emerald Coast for nothing, the water is perfectly Emerald. The sand is also pure white and super soft. If you are staying at Rosemary Beach, you can also set up a bonfire on the beach with you and the family. It’s where we had our welcome party for our wedding guests, and it was perfect!
Bike Around and Go Shopping
If you are staying in a Rosemary Home they usually have bikes for you to use. If not, I would rent them because Rosemary is the perfect place to bike around to all the different shopping and scenic areas. My favorite shops include: Rosemary Beach Trading Company and Patchouli’s. On Sunday’s you will catch a farmers market right in the square of Rosemary.

Have a Drink on the Top of the Pearl
The pearl is probably the cutest hotel I have ever seen. I would suggest going to the western green and taking a insta-worthy picture in front of it. Then make your way to the rooftop for some amazing drinks and good views.
Have Lunch at Pescado Seafood Grill & Rooftop Bar
A pro tip to this is to go during the week and during lunch because it can get so crowded. If you go during the off hours though, you can have a nice lunch at the bar overlooking the most beautiful ocean view. Not to mention, the food and drinks are incredible
Go to Alys Beach
Aly’s beach is another insta-worthy spot that will catch your eye. It is like America’s own version of Santorini. Some fun things to do over here are having lunch at Georges, Charlie’s Donut and Yogurt Shop, NEAT Tasting Room and Bottle Shop, and Raw and Juicy.
Go the Vintage Steam Food Trucks at Seaside Beach
Seaside Beach is definitely about a 20 minute drive from Rosemary Beach but it is another cute area with many food options.
Splurge and Have Dinner at Restaurant Paradis
It is more on the expensive side but it is located right in the middle of Rosemary Beach. It is prime location and the food is so incredible!
