Two: Visit The Last Bookstore

The Last Bookstore is California’s largest new and used book and record store. You can find some of the best books and records as well as sell or trade your own. Not only that, but the bookstore has a very cool and unique inside to it making it feel almost like a parallel universe. It is also great for some insta-worthy shots.

Three: Check into your Hotel

(If you haven’t already) Where you want to stay is mostly going to depend on the location you are looking for. Santa Monica is going to be by the beach and the Santa Monica Pier. Downtown Los Angeles is going to be in the heart of the city. West Hollywood is going to be in a great location for bars, restaurants, and visiting Hollywood. Best Hotels: Shutters on the Beach, Omni Los Angeles hotel in California Plaza, Freehand Los Angeles, or the Chamberlain West Hollywood Hotel.

Four: Go to Nobu Malibu for Dinner

This one is just a cool experience and definitely something that is a once and a lifetime thing, unless you have the funds for it. This spot definitely adds to the ultimate weekend travel guide in Los Angeles. The Nobu location is beautifully set on Malibu’s coast and is a perfect way to see a beautiful sunset. It is a bit farther from the downtown area but ubering is easy or driving yourself. Malibu is one of my favorite parts of California in general. Other things to do, eat, or see in Malibu: Sip win at the Saddle Peak Lodge Winery, Hike Mugu Peak Trail, visit Point Dune, or The Malibu Cafe (very insta-worthy).
