If you live in southern California, getting to Rosarito is super simple. For the out-of-state crowd, you can fly into San Diego International Airport or the Tijuana International Airport. From either airport, you can rent a car and drive to Rosarito. We drove from San Diego when we went and it is quite an easy drive. Taking the bus is another option and tickets can be purchased at the last stop of the San Diego Trolly system.

If you are driving across the border there are a few things to note. You will need your passport, driver’s license, vehicle registration, and Mexico car insurance. We had no problems entering Mexico but waited about 3 hours on our way back to the United States.
