Fabric Quality: Authentic dirndls are made from high-quality natural materials like cotton, silk, and linen. 2. Length: Traditional dirndls are usually knee-length or longer, while costume versions are often much shorter, which is not considered appropriate for formal or cultural events. 3. Price: While a traditional dirndl is an investment that can cost several hundred euros, costume versions are usually much cheaper and can be found in costume stores or online for a fraction of the price.
