9 Incredible Things to Do in Naples, Florida
Naples, located on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico, is one of the most high-class destinations in all of the United States. With its ritzy restaurants and stunning ocean views, it won’t disappoint. There are many fun things to enjoy making it a perfect destination for families. I would suggest visiting anytime from October-December. It will still be warm enough to enjoy the sun but won’t be as crowded or hot as the summer months. Naples is home to incredible restaurants, calm seas, and outdoor adventures. Check out the list below of the 9 incredible things to do in…
….Naples, Florida

Naples Pier is one of the best and most iconic spots Naples has. The pier was built in 1888. It is a popular spot for fishing, dolphin spotting, and enjoying the view of the Gulf of Mexico. It even has a concession stand for those who need a quick snack. Naples Pier stretches along the end of 12th avenue and is one of Naples’ best attractions. Two: Naples Botanical Garden
Naples Botanical Garden is a 170 acre botanical garden located just south of downtown Naples. It features the unique and original plants from the tropics. It costs $25 for adults and $10 for children. It can take you as quick as 45 minutes and as long as 2 hours. There are options to do a guided tour as well. Pro tip: go during lunch time and have lunch at the Fogg Café.
Three: Kayak to Mangrove Forest
Four: Go to the Beach
It wouldn’t be a true Florida getaway if you didn’t go to the beach. The water is crystal clear radiating a bright blue against the pure white sand crystals. Let’s just say, the beaches here are beautiful beaches and some of the best in all of the United States. Specifically, Lowdermilk Beach Park is among Naples’ most popular beaches. It gains its popularity through having 1,000 feet of beautiful beach terrain and its playground, pond, sports courts, and picnic tables. It is free entry but if you are driving it does cost to park. It is located near Fifth Avenue South right in the heart of downtown Naples. Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park, another popular beach, has been voted one of the world’s best beaches. Here you can snorkel through the coral reefs, go hiking, fishing, have a picnic, or even partake in water sports. Naples has a spectacular selection of museum’s making there many to choose from. The Baker Museum is one of southwest Florida’s greatest art galleries. It is home to 15 galleries and is a great way to see contemporary and modern fine art. The Naples Depot Museum is the best place to see Florida’s history of railways and other transportation. As you are transported back in time, you can even see miniature train towns, an antique swamp buggy, and a genuine 1950s Chevrolet. The Collier County Museum is one of 5. It showcases the history and culture of the surrounding area’s first settlers. You will learn about mastodons, the pioneers, Calusa Indians, explorers, and more! The Golisano Children’s Museum is a children and family dedicated museum that has interactive exhibits. It’s a perfect place for families to learn, play, and dream together. Downtown Naples is what gives Naples its true character. With its incredible restaurants and lively streets, it is a treat the whole family will love. Fifth Avenue South is a great place to start as it is the best place for local shopping and local restaurants. It is the main drag in Old Naples and full of cute trendy spots. Old Naples is known for its world-class dining and art galleries. I would suggest then continuing down to Tin City which is a specialty shopping district in Naples. It is located just east of Fifth Avenue South and is right on the water. This waterfront boardwalk is home to antique and local handmade crafts. Third Street South, another Naples hot spot, is downtown Naples’ most historic section. It is also home to chic shops and cute cafes with incredible foods.
