The cities are beautifully maintained, and there’s a wonderful mix of urban exploration and natural beauty to enjoy. As a big fan of Game of Thrones, my appreciation for Croatia deepened, though I’ve yet to visit the famed Dubrovnik. The country’s blend of scenic cities and pristine parks makes it a must-visit destination.
Croatia stands out as an incredibly budget-friendly destination, with many preferring it over the likes of Santorini. It’s a place you’ll want to experience firsthand to form your own opinion. The culture and ambiance of Croatia left a lasting impression on me. I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Split and Krka National Park, yet there’s still so much more I’m eager to discover. The country’s allure has even led me to contemplate relocating to Croatia multiple times.

When traveling between cities, costs may vary, with intercity journeys potentially costing around 25 USD or more, depending on whether you opt for domestic flights, car rentals, or bus and ferry services, as train connections are limited in Croatia.

While hotels in Croatia can be on the expensive side, they are generally more affordable compared to global standards. On average, a hotel stay in Croatia might cost around 88 USD per night. Depending on whether you opt for a hostel or a hotel, your accommodation expenses can range from 10 to 100 USD per night, allowing for flexibility in budget planning.
